Mr. Saleh manages QBVP’s strategic relationships, including co-investment opportunities, with the leading venture capital fund managers in the U.S. According to QBVP’s investing strategy, Anthony sources and evaluates deals for the QueensBridge Fund and leads QBVP’s contribution to the growth of our portfolio companies. Mr. Saleh has been recognized as a leading investment and music industry executive by Forbes, Billboard Magazine and Levo.
Nasir ‘Nas’ Jones
Nas is a world-renowned artist and cultural icon. In addition to a storied recording career, Nas is an experienced investor in lifestyle and technology-driven businesses. In partnership with Mr. Saleh and through the QueensBridge Fund, Nas has invested in over 150 companies. Mr. Jones evaluates QBVP investment opportunities by assessing founding teams, product authenticity and the potential for a company to become a category leader. Mr. Jones also leads strategic partnerships with top venture capital fund managers, and leverages his celebrity status to elevate the profile of QueensBridge portfolio companies.
Craig is an experienced financial advisor and investor. For over 20 years Mr. Vaughan has executed M&A, capital raising and investing transactions in technology, media and telecommunications. Mr. Vaughan has been an executive at Goldman Sachs, Sony, NewsCorp and Creative Artists Agency where he led M&A transactions, formed private equity funds and launched global businesses. At QBVP, Craig sets fund strategy, leads capital raising and limited partner relations, and manages fund administration.
Anand is a former investment banker at CitiGroup and chief financial officer at Five Four Clothing and Young & Reckless. Mr. Murthy is an experienced investor in technology-driven start-ups and invested alongside the partners at QueensBridge prior to the formation of QueensBridge Fund I. Anand brings a unique mix of transaction experience, financial markets acumen and investing experience to the QueensBridge team. Mr. Murthy maintains relationships with QueensBridge portfolio companies and utilizes our resources to assist our portfolio companies in advancing their business models.
Dee is a lifestyle and technology entrepreneur and founded both Five Four Clothing and Young & Reckless lifestyle brands. Mr. Murthy is also an experienced investor having invested alongside the partners at QueensBridge prior to the formation of QueensBridge Fund I. Dee brings to the QBVP team a wealth of experience in online and offline retail business models. Mr. Murthy advises the Fund on its many investments in technology companies that are leading the transition of major consumer markets from offline to online.
Ajay is an entrepreneur and investor with expertise in identifying businesses that leverage technology to bring people together. Mr. Relan invested alongside the partners of QueensBridge prior to the formation of QueensBridge Fund I. Ajay sources deals for the Fund and manages relationships with our portfolio companies and strategic partners. Ajay is the fund’s expert regarding social marketplaces. He has worked at social marketing start-up WhoSay, which was founded by Creative Artists Agency. He also founded #HashTagLunchbag, an online-to-offline social movement that has touched lives in over 100 cities by providing meals to those in need.
Channing is a corporate attorney with extensive experience in fund formation, M&A and securities matters with a concentration in the media, technology, entertainment and hospitality sectors. Mr. Johnson brings a broad skill set to the QueensBridge partnership developed over 40 years of practicing corporate law. Mr. Johnson advises the fund with respect to fund administration, strategy, fundraising and formation issues.
